Episode 2

After leaving the community college and some floundering, I made my way to the University of Utah to finish my Batcher’s Degree and try my hand in local politics. While there was a significant amount of culture shock, I was able to find a great group of people to work within the Student Government’s Government Relations Board. They were so great that I struggled to not be intimidated by my team leaders’ competency and in the end found myself in an existential crisis. Along the way, I was able to help the team run an amazingly successful get out of the vote campaign and lobby for an updated library in the city. Take a listen for the full story above.
